Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded Sunday's trading session with a modest decline, shedding 16.75 points, which equates to a 0.16 percent drop, closing at 10,507.59 points. According to Qatar News Agency, throughout the session, investors saw a total of 138,293,644 shares change hands, generating a cumulative value of QR 297,955,718.115. These transactions were executed in 8,347 trades spanning various sectors. The trading day was marked by a mixed performance among listed companies. Shares of 10 companies experienced gains, while 39 companies faced declines. Meanwhile, three companies reported no change in their closing prices compared to the previous session. By the close of trading, the market capitalization had decreased to QR 624,235,977,607.010, down from QR 625,214,241,355.820 recorded at the end of the prior session.
QSE Index Closes 0.16 Percent Lower Amid Broad Declines.
