Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Thursday, marking an increase of 0.05 percent, or 5.12 points, to reach 10,295 points compared to the previous session's close.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data indicated gains across several sectors. Industrials rose by 0.32 percent, Banks and Financial Services saw a 0.17 percent increase, Transportation experienced a 0.11 percent rise, and Consumer Goods and Services edged up by 0.05 percent. Meanwhile, the Real Estate sector remained unchanged, while Insurance and Telecoms saw declines of 0.10 percent and 0.98 percent, respectively.
By 10:00 am, trading turnover amounted to QAR 48.374 million, with a volume of 19.259 million shares exchanged across 3,735 transactions.
