Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose by 0.25% at the start of Monday's trading, gaining 26.65 points to reach 10,656 points, compared to the previous session's close, supported by most sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, figures from QSE showed positive performance across most sectors. The Industrials sector rose by 0.44%, Telecoms by 0.41%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.36%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.26%, Real Estate by 0.09%, and Insurance by 0.05%. In contrast, Transport had a negative performance of -0.15%.
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 93.079 million, with 41.134 million shares traded in 6,932 transactions.
