Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 12.04 points, or 0.11%, at the start of trading on Sunday, reaching the level of 10,536 points, compared to Thursday's closing. According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE index was buoyed by gains in four sectors. Industrials saw a rise of 0.33%, Telecoms increased by 0.30%, Banks and Financial Services edged up by 0.06%, and Consumer Goods and Services climbed by 0.01%. Despite these gains, the index experienced declines in several other sectors. Real Estate dropped by 0.25%, Insurance decreased by 0.43%, and Transportation fell by 0.81%. By 10:00 am, trading activity demonstrated significant movement with 24.823 million shares being exchanged in 1,981 transactions, accumulating a total value of QR 51.620 million.
