Doha: Russia’s air defense systems intercepted and destroyed overnight 35 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over various regions of the country, the Russian Defense Ministry announced Sunday.

According to Qatar News Agency, it is specified that 18 drones were shot down over the Kursk region. Four drones were destroyed over the Oryol region and Krasnodar region. Three were shot down over the territory of the Voronezh and Rostov regions and one each over the Bryansk and Tula regions, as well as in Crimea.

Russia and Ukraine almost daily announce the downing of some drones, but these claims cannot be confirmed due to the circumstances of the ongoing war since February 2022.
