Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli raids that targeted five areas in Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement Thursday, the Ministry reiterated the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of the Israeli occupation authorities’ attempts to threaten the security and stability of Syria and the region through their violations of international law.

It stressed the need for the international community, especially the permanent members of the Security Council, to assume their role and stand firmly and seriously against these ongoing Israeli violations in Syria and the region, and to activate international accountability mechanisms.
