Saudi Defense Ministry: Five Drones Intercepted, Destroyed in Eastern Region

New york: The Saudi Defense Ministry announced that five drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Eastern Region. Spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Defense Major General Turki Al-Malki stated today that five drones that attempted to approach an energy plant in Eastern Region were intercepted and destroyed.

According to Qatar News Agency, the interception of the drones was carried out by the Saudi air defense forces. The drones were reportedly targeting a critical energy facility, but the swift response from the defense forces ensured that no damage was inflicted on the plant or surrounding areas.

The Saudi Defense Ministry emphasized its commitment to protecting national infrastructure and maintaining the security of vital installations. Major General Al-Malki reiterated that any threats to the nation's security would be met with decisive action to safeguard the country's interests.
