Riyadh: The main Saudi stock index experienced an upward trend as it closed with a gain of 59.63 points, reaching a final value of 10,946.26 points. The total trading value was recorded at SAR 6.2 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 250 million shares changed hands during the trading session. Out of the companies listed, 203 saw an increase in their share prices, while 58 companies experienced a decline.
In addition to the main index, the parallel Saudi stock index, known as "Nomu," also registered gains. It closed with an increase of 295.72 points, bringing its value to 22,734.54 points. The trading value for Nomu was SAR 23 million, with 1.3 million shares being traded.
