For her part, Dr. Ghossein expressed her deepest appreciation and gratitude to HE Shei kha Al Mayassa, who she said is considered a unique model for Arab women, contributing to the advancement of women in the Arab world and globally, leaving an indelible mark on history. Dr. Ghossein remarked that HE Sheikha Al Mayassa is an exemplary Arab woman with pioneering influence in the fields of culture and education, noting that she has taken a leading role in supporting various local and international organizations. Ghossein highlighted Sheikha Al Mayassa's relentless efforts and initiatives to preserve culture and heritage in Qatar and reinforce the historical legacy of Arabs. Ghossein explained that the region's circumstances, particularly the war on Gaza, caused a delay in the celebration, which was initially planned for late 2023. She added that, out of respect for the martyrs of Gaza, including men, women, and children, the celebration was canceled, and the award was instead handed over at the Qatari embassy in Beirut.
