Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade and head of the economic follow-up delegation, Dr. Muhammad Samer al-Khalil, discussed with a number of Iranian officials in Tehran issues related to partnerships and cooperation in the field of energy, trade and economic affairs between the two countries.
During a meeting with officials of the Iranian Ministry of Energy, Khalil talked about the situation and possibilities of providing electricity to citizens and the production process in Syria, in addition to discuss the means of cooperation to rehabilitate damaged or suspended stations, and invest them in a new contractual formula that benefits both countries.
He also discussed with the Iranian Minister of Trade, Industry and Mines Abbas Aliabadi the measures taken in the field of providing the logistics of commercial and economic work such as banking, insurance, dealing in local currencies, transportation, customs, exhibitions, etc.,
AL-Khalil stressed the need to complete the procedures by signing a document for cooperation in the domain of specifications and standards, to overcome obstacles related to cases Non-conformity that may arise and affect the flow of goods between the markets of the two countries.
