Tasnim International News Agency reported that the Air Travel and Tourism Services Syndicate announced that the first batch of Iranian tourists will head to Egypt within the next 45 days. The first flight will be symbolically launched directly between Tehran and Cairo.
It added that, after the opening of the consulate, Iraq will not be used as a mediating country because it increases time, cost, and so on.
The Chairman of the Syndicate announced that the Director General of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism will arrive in Tehran next week.
He added, last week, during the visit to Egypt, we held discussions with government and private officials in the field of Egyptian tourism, pointing out that negotiations to promote tourism were conducted with Egypt, mediated by Iraq.
