Baghdad Detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency arrested a number of persons wanted in accordance with Article (4) of terrorism and Article 406 in Diyala and Maysan.
A statement by the Agency stated that the its detachments responsible for combating terrorism in Maysan (the Falcons Intelligence Cell) carried out two separate operations that resulted in the arrest of an accused wanted in accordance with Article 4 of terrorism, and the second of wanted in accordance with Article 406.
In the same context, the detachments in Diyala Governorate carried out a precise intelligence operation that resulted in the arrest of a defendant wanted according to Article 4 of terrorism. Upon preliminary investigation with him, he confessed to having carried out several heinous terrorist acts in various areas of Diyala Governorate, most of them in 2006.
