Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced today, Friday, that restrictions will be imposed on the publication of information by American media in Russia in response to the sanctions imposed by Washington on the Rossiya Segodnya media group. Peskov told Sputnik in his comment on the sanctions imposed by Washington on Rossiya Segodnya: "There can be no similar measures. There is no state news agency in the United States, and there is no state TV channel there." "Of course, measures will be taken to restrict the ability of American media to disseminate their information," he added, noting that some restrictions have already begun. The United States imposed sanctions on the Rossiya Segodnya media group, RIA Novosti, RT and Sputnik, according to a statement issued by the US Treasury Department. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
