Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari discussed strengthening coordination with the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement, “Today, Thursday, Al-Shammari received, at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Muhammad bin Ali Koman, and his accompanying delegation.”
The statement confirmed, "At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister welcomed his guests and discussed with them a number of topics of common interest, foremost of which is the outcome of the Thirteenth Arab Conference for Heads of Security Training and Qualification Institutions, which was hosted by the capital, Baghdad."
The statement added, "Enhancing coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the Council of Arab Interior Ministers was discussed, in addition to a number of topics that would develop Arab security work and increase cooperation, especially in the field of exchanging information and expertise.
