The two parties discussed developing their partnerships and mobilizing more support for emergency issues, urgent response, and development issues, especially in the agricultural water sector, water recycling and use, rehabilitating the agricultural sector in the southern governorates, and addressing issues of wastewater coming out of olive presses, especially olive presses. Salimiyeh welcomed the delegation of the French Agency, appreciating the efforts of the French Agency in supporting the agricultural sector over two decades. He presented to his guests the reality of the agricultural sector and the systematic destruction it suffers from, especially in the southern gover norates, and the war that destroyed most of the agricultural infrastructure, especially those related to water, such as conveyor lines and wells. Artesian ponds, agricultural ponds, solar energy, and the destruction of the 'Water Availability and Agricultural Adaptation to Climate Change in North Gaza' project, the treatment plant in northeastern Gaza due to the Israeli aggression. Minister Salimiyeh called on the French Agency to exert more effort and support in favor of adopting the new priorities of the Ministry of Agriculture in light of the Israeli aggression, which will have a clear developmental impact if implemented. Focus was also placed on water recycling projects in Hebron (Wadi Al-Samen area) and the water recycling station project. In Tayaseer and Al-Bireh station and transporting water from it to the Al-Auja area in Jericho, in addition to adopting new projects, the most important of which is the European Initiative project on water resources management - wastewater and its reuse in Palestine. The meeting also discussed the adoption of the Al-Zibar recycling project, which the French Agency welcomed its adoption and work on Developing a project that helps solve this problem. For her part, Sayovat, Director of the French Agency for International Cooperation, stressed the importance of the work carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture, stressing its adoption of the priorities of the Ministry of Agriculture and its efforts towards rehabilitating the agricultural sector, noting that the French Agency will continue to provide financial, technical and artistic support to the agricultural sector, in a way that strengthens the water sector and restores the agricultural sector.
