The National Security Council holds its session headed by Al-Araji

The National Security Council held its fifteenth session for the year 2024, headed by National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji, and in the presence of the council members. The Advisory said in a statement: "The Council began its session by reading Surat Al-Fatihah for the soul of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah." The Council discussed the topics on the agenda, and took the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding them. The council discussed a draft memorandum of understanding on military and security cooperation and combating terrorism between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Republic of Turkey, and took the appropriate decision regarding it.
