Baghdad, The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received today, Monday, the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.
A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council stated: “The two presidents discussed coordination between the Presidency of the Republic and the judiciary in preparing new draft laws and amending laws that require amendment.”
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Presidents of the Court of Cassation, the Chief Public Prosecutor, the Head of the Judicial Oversight Authority, and the Senior Advisor to the President of the Republic.
