The Sultanate of Oman chaired, today, Monday, the joint ministerial meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, which was held in New York.
The Gulf side was headed by Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, with the participation of the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
According to the Oman News Agency, the meeting discussed Gulf-American partnership relations, cooperation in the political, economic and security fields, consultation and exchange of visions on a number of regional and international developments, based on the keenness of both sides to support efforts and endeavors aimed at reaching peaceful solutions and settlements for various issues and crises, in a way that contributes to the establishment of security and stability.”
