Xiangcheng: The Chinese authorities announced today that an explosion occurred in a factory in Central China, leaving four persons injured and three others missing.
According to Qatar News Agency, the explosion tore through a factory in the city of Xiangcheng, central China’s Henan Province, pointing out that search-and-rescue operations are ongoing.
The injured were promptly transported to hospitals for treatment, Xinhua added, noting that an investigation into the incident has been launched to identify the cause.
In August 2024, an explosion occurred in a workshop in Ningxia region, northwest of China, killing five persons.
