Thwarting the entry of a truck with a false security permit into an oil facility in Basra

The Energy Police Directorate in the Ministry of Interior announced, today, Monday, the arrest of a suspect who attempted to enter an oil facility with a false security permit in Basra Governorate. A statement to the Directorate's media said, "A force affiliated with the Eighth Brigade arrested the accused and seized his vehicle, with which he intended to enter one of the oil facilities in Basra with a false security permit." It pointed out, 'The accused, along with the vehicle and the rest of the seized items, were referred to the Oil Police Station within the district of responsibility of the brigade, to complete the legal procedures and present the investigative papers to the competent judiciary.
