Turkish, Pakistani Foreign Ministers Discuss Progress in US-Iran Negotiations

Doha: Turkiye's foreign minister, Hakan Fidan, discussed in a phone call on Wednesday with his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, the progress made in negotiations between the United States and Iran. In a statement, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the two sides reviewed developments in the talks between Washington and Tehran, as well as efforts by Turkiye and Pakistan to help facilitate an agreement between the parties.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation between Fidan and Dar highlights the ongoing diplomatic efforts by both Turkiye and Pakistan to contribute to the resolution of tensions between the United States and Iran. The two countries have been actively involved in encouraging dialogue and understanding between Washington and Tehran, aiming to aid in resolving the longstanding issues that have affected international relations in the region.
