Two Killed, Three Injured by Shrapnel from Intercepted Ballistic Missile in Abu Dhabi

Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Media Office announced that two individuals of Pakistani and Indian nationality were killed, and three individuals of Emirati, Jordanian, and Indian nationality sustained injuries after debris from a successfully intercepted ballistic missile fell on Sweihan Road in Abu Dhabi.

According to Qatar News Agency, the incident was caused by falling shrapnel following the successful interception of a ballistic missile by air defense systems. The injuries sustained range from serious to moderate.

The statement on X from the Abu Dhabi Media Office also noted that several vehicles were damaged in the incident. The office urged the public to obtain information only from official sources and advised against spreading rumors or unreliable information.
