The security forces in Maysan arrested two suspects, one of whom was premeditated murder, and the second of provoking clan conflicts, during a security operation carried out in Al-Majar Al-Kabeer district, south of the governorate.
The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement, "A force from the second regiment of the ninety-seventh infantry brigade affiliated with the Maysan Operations Command, in partnership with Al-Sukkar Police Station, managed to arrest an accused in accordance with the provisions of Article (406) premeditated murder and another one of the instigators of clan conflicts in the judiciary." The accused were handed over to the competent authorities.”
