Abu dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Defense announced Saturday that its air defenses intercepted 20 ballistic missiles and 37 drones launched from Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, the UAE Ministry of Defense stated in a statement that since the start of the Iranian attacks, the UAE air defenses have dealt with 398 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,872 drones.
The statement explained that these attacks resulted in the martyrdom of 2 members of the UAE Armed Forces while performing their national duty. Additionally, a civilian contractor with the Armed Forces was martyred, 8 civilians were killed, and 178 people were injured, with injuries ranging from minor to severe.
