London: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has appointed former premier Gordon Brown as a special envoy on global financial affairs, Downing Street said on Saturday. In a statement, the British government also announced the appointment of Harriet Harman, a former deputy leader of the Labor Party, as an adviser on women and girls.
