Moscow: The US Central Command announced that it will begin implementing a blockade of all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports traffic tomorrow. In a statement today, the Central Command stated that this decision will take effect on Monday at 2:00 p.m. GMT, or 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

According to Qatar News Agency, the statement added that US Central Command forces will not impede freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports. The US Central Command added that additional information will be provided to commercial mariners through official notifications prior to the implementation of these measures.
