Major US stock indexes closed higher at the end of the trading session on Wednesday.
The S&P 500 gained 48.85 points, or 1.19%, to end at 4,158.75 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 157.51 points, or 1.28%, to 12,500.57.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 410.64 points, or 1.24%, to 33,422.78.
