US Stocks Post Fifth Consecutive Losing Week

New york: The main indexes on Wall Street closed lower Friday, recording their worst close in more than six months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the SandP 500 index lost 1.70%, closing at 6,368.85 points, marking its fifth consecutive weekly loss. This represents the longest losing streak for the index in nearly four years.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite fell 2.14%, ending at 20,948.36 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also saw a decline of 1.75%, closing at 45,166.64 points.
