1 Killed, 3 Injured in Ukrainian Drone Strike on Sevastopol, Crimea

Sevastopol: One person was killed and three others were injured in an attack by Ukrainian drones targeting the city of Sevastopol in Crimea, according to local authorities loyal to Moscow.

According to Qatar News Agency, Sevastopol governor Mikhail Razvozhayev stated that air defenses managed to shoot down 43 drones during the attack. He confirmed that one man was killed inside his car and the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Razvozhayev noted that the attack caused material damage to several homes across different parts of the city, which is home to the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

These developments occur amid escalating attacks between Russia and Ukraine. Kyiv has been launching drone strikes on targets within Russian territory in response to ongoing Russian shelling, especially targeting energy infrastructure facilities.

In related news, Ukrainian authorities announced that at least eight people were killed in the city of Dnipro following Russian airstrikes that lasted for approximately 20 consecutive hours.
