Palestinian media reported that 16 Palestinians, including 9 children, were martyred in Israeli raids and artillery shelling on homes in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, on Sunday. Local sources indicated that 8 Palestinians, including 5 children and 2 women, were killed in Israeli raids on two homes in the city of Rafah. Also, 5 Palestinians, including 4 children, were killed, and others were injured, in a bombing that targeted a house on George Street, east of Rafah. In addition, a Palestinian, his child, and his pregnant wife were martyred in an Israeli raid that targeted a home for the Joudeh family in the Shaboura camp in the center of Rafah, and a number of others were injured, most of them children. In this context, the Civil Defense announced that it had recovered 50 bodies that Israeli forces had buried collectively inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday that 'the total toll of the Israeli aggressi on has risen to 34,049 martyrs and and6,901 injured since the seventh of last October.'
