An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the US state of Alaska on Wednesday. The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 166 km from Nikolski, and at a depth of 43.7 km. To date, there have been no reports of material damage or human losses caused by the tremor.
