Doha: An earthquake measuring 5.1 magnitude on the Richter scale hit on Tuesday the province of Tierra del Fuego in southern Argentina. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said in a statement that the earthquake occurred 2,058 km from the city of Toluen, at a depth of 10 km.

According to Qatar News Agency, there have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far.
