A civilian was killed by unknown gunmen south of Mosul.
A source in the Nineveh police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that "armed men on foot opened fire with light weapons on a civilian, killing him on the spot and fleeing to an unknown destination," indicating that the body was handed over to the forensic medicine department in Mosul.
