A drug dealer arrested south of Hilla

A joint force from the National Security Agency, in cooperation with the Babylon police, arrested today, Sunday, in an ambush in the western Hamzah district, south of Hilla, a drug dealer in his possession more than ten thousand narcotic pills, unlicensed weapons, and an amount of counterfeit foreign currency.

A source in the force said, "Intelligence information and careful follow-up of a drug dealer led today, Sunday, to his arrest through an ambush set up for him in the military neighborhood in the western Hamzah district, south of Hilla. More than ten thousand narcotic pills, unlicensed weapons, and a quantity of counterfeit foreign currency were seized in his possession."

He added that the police transferred the accused to the competent authorities for investigation, and the seized items were kept.
