A Security Operation Launched In Salah al-Din

The Popular Mobilization Commission announced today, Sunday the launch of a security operation in Salah al-Din.

A statement by the Popular Mobilization Commission said, "A force of the Federal Police and the 88th Brigade within Kirkuk and East Tigris Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out an operation in Dhuluiya and Mu'tasim districts in Salah al-Din Governorate, in search of the wanted persons."

The statement indicated, "A joint force from the second regiment in the 88th Brigade launched an operation from two axes: the first axis, the Mu'tasim sector, to search several areas east of al-Mu'tasim, as many villages were searched, including the villages of Sheikh Muhammad, Albu Zghair Project, Al-Kush, and the banks of the Rasasi River."

It added, "The second axis included Al-Duluiya sector, where a joint duty was carried out with the units of the controlling headquarters in Al-Duluiya, and several areas northeast of Al-Duluiya were searched, including the entire Khazraj orchards."/ End
