A tribal conference in Maysan to support community peace and reduce the phenomenon of tribal disputes

Al-Amara, A tribal conference was held in the city of Al-Amara, the center of Maysan Governorate, to support societal peace and reduce the phenomenon of tribal disputes, in the presence of the local government, security leaders, and a number of sheikhs and notables of the governorate. The conference stressed several points, the most prominent of which are (confining weapons to the state, resorting to the law and tribal customs in resolving disputes, protecting investors, not allowing their facilities and property to be exposed or blackmailed under any pretext, creating a safe investment environment to provide the desired job opportunities for the people of the governorate, not firing gunshots on occasions, and take all legal measures against those who fired shots, fight drug dealers, drug promoters, and drug users, disavow them tribally, and support the security services.' For his part, the governor stressed the importance of enforcing the rule of law, maintaining the security and stability of the governora te, taking all security and legal measures against inciters of tribal disputes, and arresting traffickers and drug dealers. He pointed out that the success of investment contributes to improve the local economy as it is a real supporter of the labor movement through the employment of young people, which reflects positively on the economic aspect of the governorate.'
