A young man was killed at dawn today, Friday, in a shooting crime that occurred near the entrance to the village of Masmus within the 1948 lands.
Local sources reported that the young man, Muhammad Jamal Agbariya, was killed as a result of being shot by unknown assailants at the entrance to the village. Several bullets penetrated the upper part of his body, and the medical staff had no choice but to declare his death at the scene immediately.
A number of residents of the village of Masmus closed the street after the killing of the young man, Igbariya, in protest against the crime and the spread of murders in Arab towns within the 1948 territories.
With the killing of the young man, Igbariya, the death toll from murders in Palestinian society in the 48, from the beginning of this year until today, rises to 169 people, including 11 women.
Shootings in the streets and killings have become a common occurrence over the past years in Palestinian society within the 1948 territories, which finds itself abandoned to its fate and hostage to organized crime.
On the other hand, the Israeli police are failing to do their part to curb organized crime, amid indications of the collusion of various Israeli agencies with criminal organizations
