Damasus, Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform launched the Integrated Rural Development Guide and announced start work in 22 development typical villages in various Syrian provinces during the current year, through a workshop began Thursday at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus. The workshop aims to publicize the Ministry's vision in the field of integrated rural development from a strategic perspective to develop the agricultural sector. 'The selection of the 22 villages comes within the Development Villages Initiative launched by the Ministry in April 2022, which aims to create villages capable of development to achieve an advanced agricultural economy', the Ministry's Director of Rural Agricultural and Family Development, Raeda Ayoub, told SANA reporter. Dr. Ayoub pointed to the success achieved by the village of Qatrat Al-Rayhan in the al-Ghab area in Hama province, where the initiative was implemented for the first time, noting that the Ministry is working to reach 100 development villages until 2030 . The workshop also includes launching of the Integrated Rural Development guide based on participation and local initiatives and local initiatives, with the aim of building the capabilities of the local community.
