The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, chaired a meeting of the National Intelligence Council, in the presence of leaders and representatives of intelligence agencies.
The meeting witnessed a discussion and evaluation of the results achieved after approving the intelligence workspaces for the second semester of the first half of 2023.
They also discussed a proposal to create two intelligence workspaces to meet security requirements at the domestic and foreign levels.
The meeting also discussed the paragraphs of the Report of Threats and Challenges to Iraqi National Security for the year 2024, and the meeting issued the necessary recommendations for the preparation committee to finalize the report, in preparation for presenting it to the Prime Minister.
