The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, discussed in Sulaymaniyah, today, Monday, with the Head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani, the overall political and security situation in the country.

A statement by his media office stated that Al-Araji met, in Sulaymaniyah, today, Monday, with the Head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani.

According to the statement, the two sides stressed the importance of uniting all political forces and supporting the government in implementing the paragraphs of its government platform, and emphasizing the continuation of cooperation and partnership, especially in files of common interest.
