The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Sunday, the Sudanese Ambassador to Baghdad, Abdul Rahim Sir Al-Khatim Abdul Rahman.
The chancellery statement stated: the meeting dealt with developments in the situation in Sudan in general, in addition to discussing ways to strengthen brotherly relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
Al-Araji affirmed Iraq's support for the unity of Sudan and its clear and firm position on Arab and international issues, and its emphasis on the importance of adopting dialogue as a principle for resolving crises, stressing that Sudan's stability is a strength for the Arab countries and the region.
For his part, the Sudanese Ambassador indicated that the real situation in Sudan is good and reassuring, contrary to what some media outlets have reported, expressing his country's aspiration to benefit from Iraq's experience in the field of combating terrorism, cooperation in the field of military industrialization, as well as the exchange of experiences between the two countries in various fields. .
