President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan discussed today in a phone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken bilateral relations and the progress of the ongoing political process.

Al-Burhan briefed the US Secretary of State on the progress of the political process in the country and the challenges it faces.

Blinken affirmed the United States' support for the political process in Sudan and promised help of his country in overcoming the obstacles that stand in its way.
