Al-Hakim stresses the need to maintain Iraq’s positive neutrality in issues related to the region and its countries

The Head of Al-Hikma Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of maintaining Iraq’s positive neutrality in issues related to the region and its countries.

Al-Hikma’s media office stated: “Today, Al-Hakim met with the delegation of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, headed by Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Regional Government, and the developments in political affairs were discussed.”

Al-Hakim stressed the importance of mutual visits to present points of view and search for radical solutions to the outstanding crises, calling for investing in the current stage and the state of stability to move towards real solutions reinforced by confidence and by giving priority to the public interest of all.

Al-Hakim called for justice for employees and all segments of Iraqi society everywhere, and highlighted the importance of completing the legal structure of the Iraqi state that supports the political system and guarantees the rights of all citizens.

He pointed out the importance of adopting the constitution as the document that the Iraqis agreed upon and voted on, and we stressed the need to maintain Iraq’s positive neutrality in issues related to the region and its countries.

He explained that experiences have proven the Iraqis’ need for each other, and we said that the recent ISIS crisis proved Iraq’s need for a strong and capable region, as well as the region’s need for a strong, secure and prosperous Iraq.
