The Secretary-General of Ajial gathering, MP Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, said that there are political motives trying to mix the cards and undermine the successes of al-Sudani's government. Al-Sayhoud explained in a press statement today that: There are well-known political parties trying to incite the street and mobilize hypocrites and mercenaries to distort the image of the successes achieved by the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, especially after the great popularity he gained as a result of his continued implementation of his government and service program, indicating that 'the government seeks to make a qualitative leap in the field of economy, develop infrastructure, and improve the country's wealth, especially implementing strategic projects that are an extension of the development road project or other projects.' He added that: The Basra-Kirkuk oil pipeline development project is a major strategic project that will work to diversify export windows internally and externally an d will serve Iraq and secure its need for oil and its derivatives, in addition to that there are other projects in Maysan, Basra, Dhi Qar and Kirkuk that will work to invest oil and its derivatives and invest in associated gas and sulfur to meet the needs of power plants and refineries with gas, oil and its derivatives.' He continued, 'These cries will not deter the Prime Minister from continuing to lay the foundation stone for a project here and opening a project there, while he is racing against time in addressing and developing solutions for the legacy of the past years.'
