HE Jassim Saif Ahmed al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport and Communications, stressed that the companies graduated from the Digital Incubation Center (DIC) are a key core of smart Qatar. He pointed out that the programs, applications and ideas launched by these companies contributed to the provision of 250 jobs in the Qatari market, which constitutes an actual addition to society.
This came during graduation ceremony of the Digital Incubation Center affiliated to the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC), held yesterday, to nine start-up companies completed their incubation in 2018. And the incubation of 25 new creative ideas from the outputs of the second version of the Ideas Camp, which will be incubated in the program of start-up companies’ incubator. Also the Qatari Applab company won the first prize of QR 200 thousand in the competition of developing weather monitoring in Qatar.
The event was attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Society Development Affairs of MOTC, Reem al Mansoori, and number of businessman and representative from the ministries.
