The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, laid the foundation stone for the heavy water treatment project in Al-Zubair district, Basra Governorate, which arrived this morning, Saturday.
The capacity of the treatment plant is 140 thousand cubic meters / day, in the first phase of the project, in addition to the construction of a triple treatment plant with a production capacity of 4,000 cubic meters / day of treated water, which will be used for irrigation purposes. The project will have direct positive environmental impacts, in addition to saving water for landscaping areas in the middle of residential areas.
