Al Arabi's striker Omar Al Somah expressed happiness at winning the title of the 51st Amir Cup, after the 3-0 win over Al Sadd, in the final match that took place Friday at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
The Syrian player, who scored a brace in the final, said in remarks to QNA: "We put up a big performance in front of a big team, and we managed to take the opportunities we had." Al Somah expressed his pride in winning the title after a long absence, stressing that the goal was to make Al Arabi fans happy, pointing that the fans strongly supported the players, and were present all through the tournament.
The Syrian national team striker concluded his remarks to QNA emphasizing that the match was not easy, and that focusing on the small details enabled Al Arabi to win. He extended thanks to all Al Arabi fans for their support for the team throughout the season, congratulating them on the long awaited title.
