The Turkish Authorities announced the arrest of 122 irregular immigrants in Edirne Province, northwest of the country, and Greek forces forced them to return to Turkish territory.
The migrants hold the nationalities of Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan and were handed over to the Immigration Directorate.
Some migrants claimed that security forces in Greece beat them, stripped them of part of their clothes, and returned them to Turkish territory, according to Anadolu Agency.
After being beaten and returned to the Turkish side, the migrants asked for help from villagers in the village of "Elcili" in Edirne, close to the Greek border.
Turkey and Greece often exchange accusations of mistreating migrants or refusing to accept them./End
