This evening, Sunday, a high-level joint security meeting was held at the police headquarters of the Holy Karbala Governorate regarding drug control.
A statement of the Ministry of the Interior stated: "The meeting was attended by drug control directors in Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran to discuss the mechanism of action for combating drug trade and smuggling and exchanging information to dismantle international networks in a way that contributes to strengthening the stability of societal security and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in combating drugs."
