At dawn on Friday, the occupation forces threw gas bombs towards worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque. During the gathering of thousands of worshipers in the area between Al-Qibli Prayer Mosque and the Dome of the Rock Mosque, and chanting slogans of support for the Gaza Strip and Al-Aqsa, a 'drone' dropped heavy gas bombs in Al-Aqsa's courtyards. The fasting worshipers suffered from suffocation. The occupation forces carried out separate arrests from Al-Aqsa squares and from its gates, and assaulted young men by beating them. The occupation forces were also deployed in large numbers at the gates and roads of Al-Aqsa. 65,000 worshipers performed the dawn prayer on the fourth and last Friday of the month of Ramadan at Al-Aqsa. In the morning hours, the occupation authorities began closing the roads and streets leading to the Old City and Al-Aqsa, and erected barriers and iron barricades to designate paths for buses and worshipers. From the morning hours of Thursday until the evening, the forces stormed Al-Aqsa several times and targeted those in seclusion, by storming tents, carrying out arrests, and confiscating contents. The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem said that the forces arrested more than 22 people from Al-Aqsa on Thursday, including two girls, two boys, two young men, and a foreign Muslim.
